The executive governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, has played a key role in the development of Yobe State, including including the provision of dual project those that stand out in the entire African continent.

The governor has established the most effective and efficient maternal and child health complex in Africa, named after the former governor of the state, “Sen. Mamman B Ali Maternal and Child Health Complex.”

The governor established it at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital in Damaturu, upgrading it with modern facilities and modern equipment and providing qualified doctors to enhance the services allocated in this area.

The governor also created the largest trailer park in Potiskum Local Government Area, which is also the most modern and efficient with growth in the African continent.
