The executive governor of Yobe state, H.E. Hon. Mala Buni, CON, COMN, has supported drivers, road labourers, and wood pushers with 50,000 cash.
The governor gave them support during the unscheduled visit to the road project that connects Damaturu and Kalallawa in Yobe state.
In a visit, Governor Buni confirmed that the Yobe state government will make great efforts to see that the work is completed as soon as possible, and he also encouraged the workers of the road with cash gifts to get them carry out their work calmly.
The governor commended the company that is doing the contract for providing good work and called on them to improve the work as soon as possible:
"Of course we appreciate the way you are working day and night to ensure that this project is completed, and we are calling on you to do more to see that this project is completed in a short period of time.
"This road has a great impact on the economy and traffic of the people of our state; that's why we see it as a part that can hinder us if it is not completed according to the proper plan.
