Governor Buni Gives Priority to Education: We Are Ready to Do Anything to Ensure his efforts on education are not sabotage—Hon. Salisu Muktari Vows

The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, assured that Governor Buni gives priority to education and they are ready to make every effort to improve education and assured that Governor Buni's efforts are not sabotage.

The executive chairman made this statement while on an unscheduled visit to Buraima Primary School in Potiskum to inspect the ongoing classes construction and ensure that the students are getting quality education from the teachers and authorities in the education sector across the local government area.

The chairman was keen to ensure that the right thing was done and to reprimand those who were not honest and fair in the implementation of any work given by the Yobe State government.

"Our education system must be improved because our government is ready to improve it as Governor Buni gives priority to it. As we all know, it is a sector that has a great impact on the lives of the people and our community as a whole.

"His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, has played a significant role in promoting education and giving it full priority for the betterment of our lives.

"It is good that we stand up and do what is right for the betterment of the community and ensure the intention of the esteemed governor to create a good management system in the education sector." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari

He also called on those responsible for the management of schools in the local government area to ensure that the local government does not lag behind in any aspect of education, saying:

"It is good that we stand up and ensure that the Potiskum Local Government Area does not lag behind in the education sector and also prioritize student sports activities because it plays a vital role in opening the minds of children and attracting them to schools" He added.

The chairman stood up and called for the betterment of the community and ensuring that all the resolutions of the esteemed governor of Yobe State are in line with the development of the community.
