The executive governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, has approved an additional payment of ten thousand naira monthly to all local government pensioners in Yobe State.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Yobe State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy, which confirmed that the Yobe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved an additional payment of ten thousand naira to all local government pensioners in the state.
The governor is committed to ensuring the quality of life and welfare of civil servants, businessmen in the state, and even those who have retired and become pensioners.
The statement also announced that the governor has approved the increase in the minimum wage of local government employees to enhance their income sources and ensure their welfare.
"The lives of those who have served our community with their strength and time, that is, pensioners, are a matter of concern to us; it would be great if we could increase their salaries so that they can live comfortably." He said
The governor is committed to ensuring the well-being of the people of Yobe State.
