The policies of the Executive Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN, have played a significant role in creating a better life for the youth, curbing the effects of insecurity, and creating sustainable development.
Yobe State has succeeded in becoming a state with a positive impact on peace now because Governor Buni has played a significant role in changing the political landscape and creating jobs for the youth in various sectors to improve their lives and create ways to be self-reliant.
Governor Buni has given the youth of the state full opportunities from the ward level to the state, where he has taken steps to curb political insurgencies and bring about modern reforms to educate the youth in governance, politics, and society.
This has had an impact on curbing banditry across Yobe State, where the youth have modernized politics into a sound system and framework that will produce great leaders with deep thinking and knowledge for the future development of the state and its people.
Governor Buni has also played a significant role in providing scholarships for the youth to study abroad, providing them with permanent jobs, providing them with political positions, expanding educational opportunities, and providing effective plans for the lives of even those who are not educated.
Governor Buni has trained the youth in various trades and provided them with capital and taught them business skills to ensure that they are self-reliant, as they are the foundation of creating peace and stability for any society.
Despite the impact of terrorism in recent years in Yobe State, Governor Buni has played a significant role in restoring peace with his effective programs.
