The Executive Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, has made history in politics and governance across Yobe State by laying the foundation stone for the construction of 178 access roads across the state.
The governor was a governor who was determined to extend the works of the Yobe State Government to the remotest and the most remote areas, as he pledged to provide 178 access roads to each district in order to strengthen the foundation and provide ease of living.
The foundation stone for the construction of the Gashua, Dumburi, and Masaba modern road will connect different districts in the Bade Local Government Area, which stretches across these three areas.
The road, which has a history of deterioration that has caused residents of the areas to lag behind in education, health, agriculture, and businesses for a long time, is a must-have impact that will improve the lives of the community and residents of the areas.
The governor has also set a new record for providing quality access roads in Potiskum to Jajere and Potiskum to Ngojin areas, both of which have a significant impact on the lives of residents of the areas.
The governor also pledged to modernize the Yobe state capital by repairing all the existing intersections in the old city roads and constructing the first proper flyover and underpass bridge in the history of the state.
Yobe is committed to becoming a vibrant, beautiful, and organized city under the leadership of Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN.
