Celebrity wedding! Celebrity wedding!
If you have been online twice this year, you will know that we have had an uncountable wedding that happened this year, especially online. Yes, I bet half of us here didn't witness it, our social media only showed us the video they released.
But, look, that's not the point; the point is that most Africans celebrate weddings and not marriages.
Some are just in love with the bride's dresses, her hair, the bridal train's outfits, and vibes, forgetting the most important things.
Don't worry so much; it feels so good to do and see all those cruises. They are all part of wedding vibes and expectations, but remember there's real life after the wedding.
And to you who have been watching and cursing yourself, "God, am I a spoon? When will it be my turn?" Stop it. You are not a spoon unless you have decided to turn your soup with your bare hands.🤗
There's time for everybody's blessings; stop comparing, stop envying. By the way, do you know the story and struggles behind that person you are envying? They might have slayed for it, and you are just there in your closet envying them.
The lessons to take home here are:
1. Remember that after cruises and fun, you will still face your real life. You can never run away from it.
2. Stop comparing your blessings to others
3. Celebrate successful people, you are free to admire everyone, not to envy anyone.
Thank you
