What are Eco-friendly Initiatives?
Eco-friendly or Environmental-friendly Initiatives are/is any initiatives or institution established to promote the sustainable management of the building or environment and minimise any adverse environmental impact caused by its operation, including initiatives regarding energy usage and waste generation.
Basically, eco-friendly means living in a way that is not harmful to the environment. This way of life is becoming increasingly important, as we must protect our planet from man-made damage resulting from our quest for development and catch up with current technological advancement.
Examples Eco-friendly Practices
If you want to join the cause to save our planet from man-made damage, embrace:
-the use of Renewable energy source
-Conserve water, store rain water in tanks
-Recycle wastes, plastics and other non-biodegradable materials
-Go paperless
-minimize waste
-Reduce carbon footprint from petrol or diesel cars and engines
