The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area is working hard to fulfil the commitment of the Yobe State Government under the leadership of H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, to develop health, agriculture, and livestock to create jobs for thousands of youths across the state.
At a trade fair that's currently underway in Kaduna, Yobe State has unveiled some petrol-powered machines that will facilitate and modernise farming, all of which were developed and made in the Potiskum Local Government Area under the leadership of Hon. Salisu Muktari.
In the primary health care sector, Potiskum Local Government Area is making the most effective contribution in Yobe State according to data published by a statistical agency which led to Yobe State’s success in becoming the first state in the primary health sector across Nigeria with a grant of Dollars.
The Yobe State Primary Health Centre Potiskum Chapter and the Agric department of Potiskum Local Government Area both praised and attributed all their success to the excellent care they are receiving in developing their services from the local government chairman, Hon. Salisu Muktari.
The local government area also showcased its diverse business, agriculture and cultural offerings which greatly helped to highlight the area and gave many businessmen the opportunity to establish international business relations with Yobe State.
