Garbawa Yarimaram Communities Applaud Gov. Buni, Hon. Salisu Muktari Over Planned General Hospital in Potiskum

The communities of Garbawa Yarimaram Ward, Potiskum Local Government Area, have expressed strong appreciation to Yobe State Governor, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, and the Executive Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Hon. Salisu Muktari, for the initiative to construct a general hospital in Anguwar Garbawa.
The commendation was delivered by Lamba Mai Adiko, who spoke on behalf of the people during a joint inspection of the proposed hospital site by the Yobe State Commissioner for Health and the Executive Chairman. The officials inspected the vast parcel of land—measuring about 27 hectares—earmarked for the project, which is intended to host a modern, fully equipped healthcare facility.
In his remarks, Lamba Mai Adiko described the project as a landmark development that will significantly improve access to quality healthcare for residents of Garbawa Yarimaram Ward and adjoining communities. He noted that the initiative underscores the commitment of the Yobe State Government to strengthening healthcare delivery and promoting the well-being of the people at the grassroots.
He reaffirmed the total support of the communities for the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni, commending his people-centered policies and consistent efforts toward sustainable development across the state.
The community leader also praised Hon. Salisu Muktari for his purposeful and result-oriented leadership, describing him as a driving force behind the steady development being witnessed in the Potiskum Local Government Area. According to him, the chairman has recorded unprecedented achievements that have redefined governance and service delivery in the local government.
The proposed General Hospital, when completed, is expected to reduce pressure on existing health facilities, expand access to essential medical services, and further advance the Yobe State Government’s agenda of accessible and quality healthcare for all.
