In Mark 2:2-3, the story unfolds,
Of a paralyzed man whose fate seemed cold.
Four friends, they carried him on a mat,
To Jesus, their faith unwavering, intact.
Crowds gathered 'round, a spectacle to see,
The power of God, how it sets us free.
No room to enter, they climbed the roof,
Determined hearts seeking divine proof.
Lowered down through that makeshift hole,
The paralyzed man, body and soul.
Jesus saw their faith, not just their plight,
His words pierced through, a beacon of light.
"Son, your sins are forgiven," He declared,
The scribes' doubts, they fiercely flared.
"Blasphemy!" they cried, hearts filled with scorn,
But Jesus' power, it was not born
Of earthly limits or mortal bounds,
It's the kind of power that knows no bounds.
Healing bodies, souls, and minds,
In Jesus' name, true freedom finds.
The power of God, a force so pure,
It mends the broken, makes us sure.
No obstacle too great, no pain too deep,
In God's embrace, our spirits leap.
So let us trust in His mighty hand,
In every trial, He has a plan.
Mark 2:2-3, a tale so grand,
The power of God, forever stands.
