Damian,

For the last three weeks, you've made my heart flutter.

Today, you walked into the rehearsal hall and my pupils dilated at the sight of your halo. When you spoke, your charisma made me gush. The way your biceps moved sporadically filled my belly with butterflies. You had this air of nonchalance, seeming oblivious to the effect you had on the environment, and I wanted to possess you.
The first time you agreed to make time for me, I was over the moon with excitement. It was unusual for me to not make mistakes like a giddy child. You showed up to the venue later than the agreed time but I didn’t mind. We started talking at once. You spoke like we’ve been friends for a while; like it was the most natural thing. I walked in your shadow and tried to mirror your thoughts. We walked and we talked a lot. It was the first time I felt so comfortable with someone I was only getting to know. I didn’t want it to end but it was getting late. You walked me home and turned to leave but when I didn’t move, you asked if I needed a hug. How could you easily see through me? I was embarrassed. The entire time we were together, I wanted to feel you. I wanted to place my hands on yours and feel the heat of your body against mine. But I didn’t want to discomfort you. I wanted to take things slowly. I still do.
