In a Mercedes or Rolls Royce,
In a Toyota or Peougeot,
On a Bajaj or Jinchen,
On a bicycle or skateboard,
On a flat slippers or bare foot,
I am forever his queen,
He is forever my king.
In a palace or a mansion,
In a duplex or a flat,
In a self-con or single room,
In a hut or under a bridge,
Under a tree or in an open field,
I am forever his queen,
He is forever my king.
Whether we eat crispy calamari rings or chicken and cheese salad,
Whether we eat fried rice or jollof,
Whether we eat egusi or ogbono,
Whether we eat concoction rice or black soup,
Whether we eat with cutleries or exchange one spoon,
Whether we eat with our hands or lick plates,
Whether we have food to eat or not,
I am forever his queen,
He is forever my king.
Whether we drink Champagne or Lambrusco
Whether we drink malt or Fearless
Whether we drink Coke or Fanta
Whether we drink Mirinda or Pepsi,
Whether we drink bottle water or sachet water,
Whether we drink tap water or well water,
I am forever his queen,
He is forever my king.
Our loyalty is to the crown,
Placed on our heads by God,
To be his queen forever,
And him, my king forever.
