I have been reading a lot about intermittent fasting and the numerous benefits it holds for your gut and health in general.
The advantages were too good to ignore, so I told myself I had to try it out.
Hmm...
Where do I start from?
Is it the silent tussle I had with myself trying to refrain from eating anything past 5 pm or the hunger pangs that got me looking like a destitute?
Long story short, I conquered!
Above is the meal I just used in breaking the fast. I was told to keep the portions small, and I sincerely hope what I have there is small enough if not, doxology o.
Finally, I'll say the experience wasn't so easy but definitely worth it.
I feel light, and my system is clear. If you have had a lot of junk lately, or just being stuffing yourself with too much food, you should totally try IF out.
Quit overworking your system. When you eat continuously, it works nonstop, trying to digest and perform other functions within the body.
Yes, allow your system BREATHE.
For me, though, I would be taking a short break this period and resuming mid-January for obvious reasons, lol.
I mean, what's Christmas without food, junk and all there is?
I'll indulge biko.
We go again next year😅
