The Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, is currently constructing the first modern shopping mall, dubbed "Yobe City Mall Center," in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State.
The construction of this modern shopping mall, "Yobe City Mall Center," is part of Governor Buni's policy of strengthening the economy, developing income streams, creating jobs, and promoting economic transformation for the benefit of the good people of Yobe State and its environs.
The construction of this modern shopping mall will strengthen the economy of Yobe State and attract investors by encouraging them to invest and improving trade relations between small and medium-sized businesses in Yobe State.
The mall is a modern, safe, and efficient development that includes shopping malls, department stores, food courts, a modern parking lot, a sports complex, an exhibition center, and other facilities that will transform the business landscape in Damaturu and its environs.
When completed, the market is expected to create jobs for thousands of residents of Yobe State, boost the economy, increase tax revenues, and promote the transformation of trade into a modern economy.
