DO YOU HAVE TO BE SMART TO BE A WRITER?

In my own opinion, I think writing is a skill that anyone can possess if they put in their time and effort. You can learn to become a writer as it's not something that is inherited from birth, it is taught and developed over time.
You don't have to compare yourself to other writers as to how they position their writing, their use of vocabulary, or their style of writing. Everyone has his/her own unique style of writing and intelligence has nothing to do with it.
As the author of "Show Your Work" said, we don't have to be geniuses. Be an Amateur. be boring. be Inexperienced as this may lead you to make discoveries. find your muse and be able to connect with others.
In my case, I like to tell myself I'm smart. However, I know I'm nothing close to it because if you give me other things to work on, I might not give you the satisfaction you were hoping for. But I write. Because I know what to write, and how to phrase my words in a way people can understand. I love to tell stories and that's a huge bonus for me because each time I pick a book to jot down my daily experience, I derive inspiration from there to write about other things.
Forget about being perfect. focus on ways to improve whether you're a copywriter, ghostwriter, or content writer. know your target audience and give them the kind of content that will keep them glued. Draw inspiration from little things you think do not matter as these things may turn out to be the highlight.
Do research, read books, or watch videos related to writing. these have been the most helpful tactics to me as a writer.
