Day 20 - Pineapple Power Boost Drink
Hi.
I'd like to share with you one of my favourite drinks recipe. It's simple, powerful and easy to prepare.
Let's check its nutritional benefits:
- Pineapple juice: Contains vitamins A and C, as well as antioxidants and enzymes that can help boost digestion.
- Kalanchoe pinnata (aka "Plant of Life"): Contains flavonoids, which may offer anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
-Ginger: Anti-inflammatory properties may help relieve sore muscles and joints.
-Pineapple skin: Contains bromelain, an enzyme that aids in digestion and reduces inflammation.
Honey has a great antioxidant effect and a good sweetener for drinks.
Milk is great for that creamy, soft-on-the tongue taste. Aside this, it is known to provide calcium and a powerful brain booster.
Let's dive into the recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 large Pineapple (Peel, flesh and juice)
- 1 Medium-sized ginger root (blended or mashed)
- Shredded plants of life
- Honey
- Milk
*Peel the pineapple and wash the peels thoroughly.
*Extract the juice from the flesh, sieve out any shafts and put the remnants in a kettle.
*Put the pineapple peels in the kettle too.
*Add the shredded plants of life and mashed ginger root
*Add 1 litre of water to the combo
*Bring them to the boil and sieve out the tea
*Mix the tea with the extracted pineapple juice
* Add five spoons of honey and some milk for that sweet, creamy, soft-on-the-tongue taste.
* Drink chilled.
Don't forget to thank me by liking and sharing.
