Delta Deputy Speaker Akpowowo Replies Agege, Call Him A Serial Betrayer.
The former Deputy Senate President Ovie Augustine Omo-Agege in a viral video in one of his supporters home at Eku community on Friday 11th January 2025 made a puerile statement in his usual manner of boasting about the capacity if given thousand years to prove will amount to nothing. In the said video, the former DSP Ovie Omo-Agege said, " Ethiope East House of Assembly Arthur is the one there, I will flush him out by 2027, what I want you people to do is to look for someone who can defeat him, I am not saying we are going to impose the person but someone who is strong, willing and who can defeat him and I Will give you the necessary support from there"!
Before going further, the former DSP Omo-Agege has clearly shown Rt. Hon (Olorogun) Arthur Akpowowo Esq. Is a big threat to APC Delta State and to him in particular, by his statement and making him the centre of his discussion. Also to his supporters in Ethiope East, my senior brother Hon Innocent Anidi and his supporters, Agege has clearly said, you don't have the capacity to withstand Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Akpowowo in the forthcoming general elections come 2027.
The Deputy Speaker in a video has clearly told Agege, "I was thinking you were my political opponent but from your video you have told me , you're my political 'Foe' but I am never a serial betrayer like you, you betrayed Chief Ibori, Great Ovedje Ogboru who revived your dead political career by giving you labour party Delta Central Senatorial ticket in 2015, It's God who gives power and not man".
It's quite unfortunate that in his pure hogwash, the former Deputy Senate President forgot he lost Ethiope East woefully and have refused to wake up from the euphoria of that very defeat. The one time secretary to the delta state government forgot about his incurable fractured Delta APC with over 3 factions that needed to be fixed. Let me remind him if he forgets, that a man who leaves his house on fire to help quench his neighbours own needs to be consciously examined.
Again I especially want to thank our elder brother and uncle that made the video public Olorogun Aghwarianovwe Ikie Esq. We are grateful to be intimated of the battle ahead, we will not take this kind gesture for granted. It's now public knowledge that we will not be contesting against APC Ethiope East come 2027 but Against Agege and his co-travellers.
The agenda of Agege and his factional APC to use the media to blackmail the Deputy Speaker which we believed were mere allegations is now true and as usual we, at Hon. (Olorogun) Akpowowo media have what it takes to weather the storm.

For now the office of the Deputy Speaker is too busy in delivering its electoral promises, hence we refuse to be distracted by known enemies of progress.
We are confident that while delivering our electoral promises in line with the MORE AGENDA of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori, the good people of Ethiope East will do it again!
