DAY 3 - Throwback Pictures and Photos

THIS LIFE DOES NOT WORK THE WAY IT WORKS IN OUR HEADS.
Especially in Nigeria, where we are the enemies of ourselves.
That was how one of my "jugular veins" sent a small boy to get her Coca-Cola. He ran as his legs could carry him and he was back in no time.
She discovered the drink had expired, she didn't have to check the bottle because she's Coca-Cola addict, lol. She could differentiate the normal from the expired one just by listening to the sound of the gas and it's taste on her tongue.
As for me, I had to confirm. Lo and behold, it'd expired.
I returned the drink, collected my money and then wanting to know what she was gon' do with the other expired ones, teased "are you also going to return them?". She answered, " Return them ke? You think everyone will check?". I froze! Lol.
But seriously, I really do not know what I would do if I was in her shoes.
Any which way, you guys should stay safe out there. It's really very cold out there. Watch what you eat because directly or indirectly, you are whatever you eat.
N.B - These pictures were taken October 13, 2022 and the story above was the story I attached with them. It's so amazing I found them in my archives. Now I feel like I am an chronic record keeper, lol.
Also, the jugular vein above connotes my mother.
After confrontations with the woman, I got home, say down and then whilst I was wondering about how we harm ourselves as humans and the good sides of boldness, I became proud of myself that I had done well by returning the expired Coca-Cola and also by letting the woman know that we aren't illiterates. Because of the joy that was within me, I took this snapshot.
This is just a gentle reminder - You are whatever that goes into your mouth (invariably, what you eat), please eat wholesomeness at its core and see your body and self thrive.
Till we get to the promised land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
