ANUNUEBE

Anunuebe is an Igbo word that for a mystical, magical and spiritual tree that literarily means “no bird perches on it”. This a long forgotten trees that is used to prepare all sort of powerful charms and herbs. It is rarely found but it exist in Igbo region, especially in Ebonyi State. It has medicinal values as some powerful healers and strong medicine men usually make use of its leaves, roots or bark for creating powerful potions.

People often describe the Anunu-ebe tree as a mystical plant which refuses other plants to grow around it. It is claimed that nothing dares grow under or within the area the Anunu-ebe spread its leaves spread or cover. It is traditional used for spiritual purposes and medicinal purpose.

This powerful mysterious long forgotten herbs is usually known to make a strong charms and powerful amulets. The leaves and roots of the powerful Anunu-ebe tree is said to be a cure for leprosy, syphilis and other deadly diseases. It healing properties is second to none. It bear a remarkable symbol in the Igbo culture.
