DAY 26: CHALLENGES OVERCOME

I was walking home after my arduous CBT exam, and it was getting dark. Some bad guys wanted to steal my phone along the narrow road that had become a familiar pathway to my lodge,but some men who I didn't recognize at first came and saved me. They told me they were some of the guys I greeted occasionally, turning my simple act of courtesy into a beacon of hope in a moment of peril. That day, I realized the importance of greeting, which is a big part of Igbo culture.
