ABACHA (Africa Salad)
a picture Abacha (called Africa Salad in English) prepared by me. Yes I did. This delicious meal is said to be originated from Igbo tribe (one of the major tribe in Nigeria), and it bear a remarkable symbol in their culture.
Recipe:
* 2 handfuls Abacha (Africa Salad)
* 2 cups Ukpaka (African oil bean seed)
* 15 cl red palm oil
* Fired Fish/Dry Fish/Stockfish
* 1 large Onion
* Salt and dry pepper (to taste)
* 4 tablespoons ground crayfish
* 2 stock cubes (Maggi/Knorr)
* 1 teaspoon
* 1 teaspoon Ogiri (African locust bean)
* 3 Fresh Utazi leaves (Gongronema latifolium)
* Ponmo / Kanda (cow skin)
* Garden Eggs (As much as you can eat)
* Garden Egg leaves | 1 medium bunch
* 1 medium onion (for serving)
