DANFO DREAMS.
Every Lagos kid has a relationship with the yellow bus. It is your first lesson in negotiation, personal space, patience, and how to hold your bag so nobody steals from it.
I collaged this from old bus tickets I have been collecting for two years, newspaper headlines, spray paint, and acrylic. The yellow is the same yellow as every danfo that ever made me late for school and somehow also got me there.
Mixed media on plywood. 4 x 3 feet. I want it to feel like the inside of a danfo sounds. Loud. Close. Alive.
