CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I remember when I was small,
When the world was big and full of awe.
The days were long, and summer nights,
Were full of stars and fireflies' lights.
I'd run and play, all day and night,
'Til I fell asleep, with dreams so bright.
The memories of childhood linger on,
They stay with me, as I've grown and grown.
But the wonder of childhood never fades,
The magic of those days never fades.
