We’ve gathered here, a faithful band
United by a loving hand
In this sacred space, our heart entwined
As we celebrate a bond divine
A stream of tears rolling down my cheeks
Thinking of the unsubstituted seconds we’ve been spending
Love, joy, peace, faithfulness
The building blocks of our union
Through laughter, tears and trials shared
Our friendship roots have grown so deep and fair
A tapestry woven, thread by thread
Of memories cherished, joy instead
The hikes, bible trivia, bible study
No words can weigh
The feeling in my heart
Perhaps I may say, you’re such a blessing
So late us raise a glass of cheer
To friends who have been so kind and dear
May our paths forever intertwine
As we journey onwards, hand in hand.
