Funny things do happen. Yes they happens when list expected. Manase was a villager drunkard from Ivugwi village. He was the night keeper at Ivugwi primary school, though he used to sleep in his house. He went and took alot of chang'aa (the illicit brew) and on reaching his home he died. The family took his body to Mbake mortuary for preservation as they planned for a burial.
On the day of taking the body from the morgue during the covid 19 season, the law was that no one was to view the body of the deceased. The body was taken home in the evening and early in the morning church service was conducted and Manase was burried.
Another body had been taken from the morgue on the same day and taken to Banja village. The deceased was a district overseer of pentecostal church. The funeral witenessed great eulogy and the burial procession was so great. As they were about to take the casket into the grave, one mad man asked the church leaders if they were normal, that the one they were to burry was not Overseer Meshack. What!!!!! One of the church elders requested the madman remarks to be considered first. Upon opening of the casket it was diacovered that the body inside was not Overseer Meahack. Despair ran accross Banja village. They took back the body to Mbale mortuary only to find out that Manase's family had taken Overseer's Meshack body for burial.
Yes it happened.
