Twice As Tall marks the fifth studio album of Burna Boy, a trailblazer in Afro-fusion and now a Grammy Award-winning global sensation. Burna Boy describes the album as a reflection of a significant period in his life, capturing the essence of the struggle for freedom and encompassing the various facets of real life – the highs and lows, the joy and sorrow, and the overall human experience. Executive produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs, Bosede Ogulu, and Damini "Burna Boy" Ogulu, the album features collaborations with Senegal's Youssou N'dour, Naughty By Nature, Kenyan band Sauti Sol, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and Stormzy. Additionally, contributions come from LeriQ, Telz, P2J, Rexxie, Timbaland, Mike Dean, Anderson.Paak, and Mario Winans. Recorded mainly in Lagos during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Twice As Tall is a captivating blend of diverse sounds, with eleven out of the fifteen tracks produced by Nigerian talents, eight of whom belong to the Spaceship Collective.
