Building a voracious reading habit

Building a voracious reading habit requires you to know your most convenient book format.
You need to understand which of the book formats you enjoy most whether hard copy, soft copy, or audiobook.
When I started reading in 2020, I loved reading ebooks (soft copies) a lot. This was because of my limited access to hardcopy books so I had to make do with what I had.
Although my dad had an enormous library, ninety percent of his books were spiritual. Since I knew that my call wasn't just spiritual (or to be a pastor) I knew I had to read books on other areas of life.
Then, I couldn't afford to buy books (books are not cheap) so I always read ebooks.
But as I began to make money, I started building my library and started reading hard copies. Fast forward to 2023, I lost interest in ebooks.
Although I still read them, I noticed that my reading pace and concentration are always lower when I am reading on my phone. I would always want to check some other things on my phone, maybe WhatsApp messages, Facebook, etc.
So, I resorted to hard copies and that was what prompted me to buy 40 books in 2023. And I've been maintaining my reading habit of reading a book every week.
If you don't know your preferred choice yet, try the three of them and measure your reading progress and speed, concentration level, and assimilation. This will give you a clue as to which one to stick with.
Copied!!!
