Breaking free!!
rumors they call our voices
even when it tastes of truth
regardless it sounds like those noises
made by the metal chains of our root
who are we?
we almost forgot
buried in the resolve to flee
away from our land, hassled by legions of political bigots
we've been strangers to our father's land for decades
neglected without their soliciting empathy
hooligans of our skin shade now plays us like elite arcades
we only hear these patriarch voices as campaign sermons "say no to political apathy"
yet we've said no to these leopards's grasp of Africa
warmongers gasping peace in hypocrisy.
political artists, painting democracy with blood and amnesia
our history refuse to diffuse that memory
what have they not done?
fed us lies of a papercash feasting serpent
where have we not gone?
trying to save our homes from hunger and ailment
This algorithm of leadership is enslaving
cracks our rights and emotions into minute crumb
after building empires off our resources, such political pottering!!
still expects us to act blind and dumb
what have we not done for freedom?
we've protested with our soul, the blood of our sons and sibling
even then did they create us hell in the dungeon
and we made heaven to detest their breeding
the resistance is still not over
so rise up all compatriots
may this injustice never seize our voices, neither may hunger
playing my part to untangle the powerful spirit of all patriots.
