BOUNTY OF THE SEA

The night has come here to play in the day.Sunlight glints upon the face of the brackish waters- where an array of colours play before my eyes. what lies in the deep have slapped my senses out of its perceived veracity. Coral and reef, rocks and vegetation; a city in the sea!A world not made for my kind; a place where the angels have built for themselves an estate.Oh Boundless sea! The mother and womb of life!Wild yet calm, dangerous nonetheless beautiful-the sound of shingles crushing beneath her bottomless.I hear silence in the symphony sung by its creatures, the shimmer in scales and fins and the splendor surrounding. I walk on the shores of humanity, picking up shellsthat define our reality; a gift undeserved, one we arenot worthy of and I am convinced HE is great! © Whyte Queen 2018
