Borno Attack: President Bola Tinubu Mourns Fallen Soldiers, Lauds Military Response

President Bola Tinubu has sympathised with the military and the families of the six soldiers who lost their lives during the tragic terrorist attack that took place at the Nigerian Army base in Sabon Gida, Damboa, Borno State.

This is as he called for a thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the assault.

In a statement issued today by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended the bravery and sacrifice of the fallen soldiers.

He said their sacrifice in defending the country will forever be honoured and remembered, underscoring the nation’s indebtedness to those who paid the ultimate price for its security.

The president also praised the Nigerian Armed Forces for their swift and decisive response to the attack.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by the military, the President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and banditry, promising unwavering support for the armed forces.
