The executive Governor of Yobe State H.E Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, has encouraged farmers in Potiskum LGA following the agricultural support provided under the leadership of Hon. Salisu Muktari.
Potiskum LGA is among the 17 local government areas with significant agricultural impact in Yobe State, and it's led by the executive chairman, Hon. Salisu Muktari, giving importance to encouraging them to adhere to the policy of His Excellency the Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni.
The good people of the LGA have played a significant role this year in ensuring food security following the dry farming season, which they have given great importance to.
They are ensuring that the agricultural empowerment of Gov. Buni is part of the success they have achieved in cultivating various crops during this year's Dry season.
Alh. Muhammad A Dallari, a farmer who has grown rice and onions as he used to do each year, has confirmed that the support/empowerment he received from the Yobe State government under the leadership of Governor Buni from Hon. Salisu Muktari is the reason for his increase in crops this year.
"This year, we have definitely benefited from the abundance of crops in both the rainy and dry seasons, which is due to the agricultural support we received from Hon. Salisu Muktari, who assured us that the Governor gave it to encourage us in his commitment to provide sufficient and quality food across Yobe State." He said
