"I want to Write...! I want to Write?"
That's a fantastic decision, if you ask me.
But how much do you read?
How well, do you read?
Writing is amazing and it's a very lucrative career if you put your mind to learning the ropes that concern it.
However, you cannot write well, if you don't read well.
Does that make you surprised?
Well, it shouldn't.
As a writer, you must first learn how to read. When I say, read, I mean the entire thing.
Magazines, catalogue, novels, newspapers and the manuscripts of other writers, if you have access to it.
I've heard stories of others whose first gift was writing, which is fine as well but mine was reading.
Reading helps you in learning a proper diction structure and pronunciation, so that when you want to make sentences, you can do that effortlessly.
It even helps you to understand and see the book from another perspective, while teaching you the basics of writing and how to do better, if you got the opportunity.
So, beloved Writers, before anything else, BE A VORACIOUS READER!
