Government housing estates are quite common on Akerele Road. Tall, magnificent structures built for residential purposes are quite a common sight on the street.

With recent renovations on the structures, you find them in bright painted colours of wine red and yellow or brown. The bungalows still maintain their greyish colours.

You'd find the storey buildings equipped with basic social amenities like water, electricity and adequate lighting.

When next you visit Akerele Road, watch out for this gigantic structures that house quite a number of Surulere residents.
