Tremors and then the quake
The foundations shaking
Even as fearful wearied souls frets.
Fear sips up like a furnace
The sacred smokes of burnt offerings
This lava erupts.
Quiet solitude embraces our noises
Boisterous glees calmed by this storm
That hurls life stay
In a whirlwind a hurricane.
Left and tethered to the winds
Life's tree far from fear of leaves bereft
Mocks these pilgrims
Beggars clamouring for the stars
But lost in the wilderness of life's vanities.
The storms gathers in the north
Where the stars have gone on exile
Where the clouds sojourns not
And the sky rolls up it's mat,
Then, a rumble
Another rumbling rumbles with lightening flash
Heralding the thunder
The harbinger to our mortal demise
As we eagerly work chaos upon the earth.
The earth dreads our presence
And the sky is monocled in blindness
For all luminaries have ceased
Struck blind by the awe of our deeds
Save the savagery of nature we've invoked
To conclude our mortal sagas...
