DAY 15 - NOK, KADUNA STATE NIGERIA
I have always wondered about the NOK art since Art classes in College. The uniqueness of their Terracota art intrigues me. The Ancient Ham Village of the NOK people in Southern Kaduna, dates back to as far as 1500 BC.

It is believed that the NOK people may have migrated from the Sahara to Northern Nigeria and settled there. Their Terracota art about funerals, weddings and feasts was dated as far back as 900 BCE. This shows how old the ancient village has existed.

Today, it is a place of tourist attractions because of its ancient art affiliations.
