ACCI Applauds Gov. Buni’s Visionary Leadership, Urges Investors to Explore Yobe’s Peaceful and Prosperous Economic Landscape

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State for his visionary leadership and commitment to building a peaceful, stable, and economically vibrant state.
Speaking during the Yobe Day celebration at the ongoing 20th Abuja International Trade Fair, the Director General of the ACCI, Agabaidu Jideani, praised the governor’s efforts in transforming Yobe into a promising destination for trade and investment.
“Yobe State has become a model of peace and progress. With its abundant mineral deposits, rich agricultural potential, and business-friendly environment, investors have every reason to come and explore the opportunities the state offers,” Jideani stated.
He noted that Yobe is home to modern, well-structured markets that meet international trading standards, giving the state a strong position in both local and global commerce.
“The Damaturu Cargo Airport provides an efficient gateway for the movement of goods, especially minerals and agricultural produce. This infrastructure is a major boost to trade, logistics, and industrial growth,” he added.
Jideani called on both local and international investors to take advantage of Yobe’s rising economic profile, applauding Governor Buni’s administration for creating an enabling environment that supports innovation, investment, and inclusive growth.
He further reaffirmed the ACCI’s commitment to partnering with the Yobe State Government in promoting industrial expansion, trade collaboration, and sustainable economic development across the state.
