a whisper in the wind
just believe,
and also be relieved,
everything is only for a while.
.
whether you pray or play,
either you prey or slay, or you
lay for pay, it's only for a while.
.
ask men; frail and grey -yet living.
and men, once famed in days of
hay, how they played their game.
.
ask folks; in boxes, in six feet chamber; residuals of ants, who
once a fox, now lying below.
.
i see beauty like rainbow; and
nudity and purity, which tempted angels to fall down from heaven.
.
i see edifice like heaven's court
with lumpsum bought, and some, huge, which with fortunes built.
.
i see classic rides on crystal rims,
causing traffic on bypass streets,
dashing at ballistic speed, and
.
materials of finest aesthetics,
after which all are chasing like
in games of Olympics.
.
mortals -since days of adam,
engaged in shadow chasing, and daughters of eve are the force.
.
all are a whisper in the wind, for -nothing lasts forever. glamours of yesterday, now antiques of today.
.
no matter how hard you run,
and how much energy you burn,
believe it, you can't catch the sun.
