A TIME WHEN I FELT LOVE

The sun was setting, the sky aglow,
As I lay in bed, lost in the flow.
My thoughts were wandering, far and wide,
When suddenly, a soft voice replied
"You are loved, my dear, you are treasured,"
It said with warmth, never measured.
I felt the love, like a warm embrace,
I knew in that moment, I was in a safe space.
I drifted off, content and at peace,
With the knowledge that I was loved, a sweet release.
