That last line hits hard tbh. The whole 'Africa rising' thing feels like a headline we want to believe but the reality is way messier. Like yeah we celebrate the teams but half those players learned the game somewhere else because the leagues back home can't pay them. Still can't lie I'll be screaming at my TV when Ghana plays.
