a kite

i sight a kite, in
the night, hanging
up and jerking,
in the height,
.
of colour fairly
bright like dim
white. distinct in
rays of moonlight,
.
like a dove, near
the breast of jove,
enjoying a jolly
lonely rove.
.
the bonds seems
tight. the frame
clearly is light, which
set the flight right,
.
i saw no string
holding her chin, but
there's a thing, so thin
holding it in the wind.
.
and the tails and fins,
of ribbons wrought, swim
the passing stream of
the night hush wind.
