When I had fell and got stuck in the mud
A hand reached out and pulled me up.
When I had sank so deep in the sea of despair
A hand reached out and pulled me up.
When I had fallen deep into the bottomless pit of hopelessness
A hand reached out and pulled me up.
When I had wandered lost in the desert of fear
A hand reached out and pulled me near.
When I had stumbled through the darkness of night
A hand reached out and pulled me into the light.
When I had been broken by the trials of life
A hand reached out and pulled me into the strife.
When I had been blinded by the lies of the foe
A hand reached out and pulled me to the truth I know.
When I had been silenced by the shame of my past
A hand reached out and pulled me into the love that lasts.
A hand reached out,
This hand reached out.
