I am a nomad,an anomaly,intricately woven to fit any situation
I’ve been to different cities,
Lived through different wars
I have been in love, I have hated
I have cried so hard I could not see a word through my tears
And I have laughed so hard my ribs started to ache
I have been betrayed,shocked and surprised
I have lived through centuries,observing the world go by
I have a red-blue heart from the fiery passion I have felt and the cold heart I had to build
A Purple Heart from the number of times I have been hurt over and over again
I am here,there,everywhere at once
You can find me in between words,
I am the exclamation point behind every emotion,the comma for continuation and the full stop for conclusion
I live between lives,jobs,emotions
I read between lines,spaces,awkward silence and glances
Mouth forming words I never speak
Eyes fleeting through pages like it’s the last I’ll ever see
Heart beating in anticipation for the final scene
A satisfied smile at the new world I just conquered
I am a reader and I can’t wait to move unto the next …
