Chapter 3
SLEEP
Frank almost ran into a car.
But luckily for him, the car drifted to the other side doging him by a second. He sighs in relief, but he didn't stop. He kept on running.
Someone was trying to kill him.
He didn't know why, but this individual wasn't slowing down one bit. He kept on running until he got to a house. He headed there, lucky for him again, the door was unlocked. He didn't even bother to knock and just ran in, locking it behind him. His breathing was the only sound that covered the house.
" Hello!" He called out.
No answer.
Immediately he was stabbed with a knife from behind. He screamed out...
*****
Frank woke up on his bed.
He checked his back, he was fine. He heaved a sigh of relief.
" It was just a dream."
He stood up from his bed and went to turn on the lights.
A figure in a cloak was standing in front of him. Before he could do anything, he was stabbed again in the heart...
*****
Frank pulled himself out of the swimming pool at his backyard. He was only in shorts. The moon radiating it's light on the surface of the water. He grabbed a towel from a chair and dried himself. He then picked up his phone and checked the time.
12:30.
Why the hell am I in the swimming pool at this hour...
He was confused. But he didn't give it much thought and packed his stuff heading back into his house. He unlocked the door and stepped into the house, he switched on the light. And then went to grab a bottle of wine from the fridge as well as a glass, he then poured himself a drink.
He emptied the glass.
He began to choke on the drink. It was like his throat was getting sealed up, and his lungs blocked. He began to spit out blood, he falls to the ground hitting his head on the concrete floor.
He died a few seconds later.
His thirty minutes were up...

Abigail sat side by side with her Mom in church. She still couldn't believe her mother was here. It was like a dream, only this was real. The truth is, this woman is supposed to be dead. She was sitting close to her in the hospital when her mother gave up the ghost. Cancer took her from this world.
But right now she cared less. Mother is right here and that is all that matters...
" Okay baby you need to stop staring, you've been doing that since the drive down here." Her mother cut her out of her thought.
" Sorry, just... happy that you are here that's all." Abigail admits.
" Of course I am. I'm always here for you guys alright."
Abigail nods. " I know."
She turned her attention back to the pastor who was ministering on stage. This is how it should be. This is how life should be...
After service. The family decided to go speak with the pastor and get him to pray for them before they leave. They stood in line waiting, until it got to their turn.
" Mrs. Benson, it's nice to see you again in church." Pastor James said shaking her hands.
" Me too."
" Let's go into my office."
They joined him there. They say comfortably in their respective chairs. His office was huge and well decorated, you would wonder how a man scored a place like this. But his church was a big one.
" I brought my daughter along to join us." Mom told him.
" Hi, am Abigail." She introduced herself.
" Nice to meet you." James streched his hand and she shakes it.
It was like a surge of electricity moved through both of them. Their eyes meet on the spot. The holy Spirit was at work.
" I think I know you from somewhere." He stated.
Abigail could not reply, she has no idea what has just happened.
" That's impossible, you guys just meet." Her mother disagreed.
" No am sure of it... I just can't place it." He insisted.
" Mom let's get out of here."
" Agreed."
They both stood up and left the office with him calling but they never turned back...
