My story, what a tale!
A paradox of metaphors
With plum plot
Has a deeply shallow taste
Told by a strong fragile mind
With a stammering oratory
Life was good
When the bud opened
The field was green
When the plants were virgin
HIS breath made things work
Soul sold no souls
Blood has a colour
My life enjoyed life
Like a laughter
Men were real
That was my story
Until she snuck out
Without a faring farewell
I waited, a forlorn wait
But, like a vault,
Her eye remained shut
My eye lost its drops
And my sweat penned a new chapter
To man my sodden journey
A story told by a soul in stow
The eye of God saw the character
Towards a jungle of climax
And the dry leaves dropped afresh
When they just bud
I walked the path of antagonists
In the pool of red
But I was not drowned
They rather bathed to death.
My denouement became mixed
My sullen story
A saga or a memoir?
Only time will tell.

About the poem
This poem is about the death of my mother who I lost at a school age. Her death killed all my childhood joy. It redefined my childhood and till date, I'm yet to recover from the sudden truncation. The resolution? I still don't know.
