There once was a lady
As pretty as could be
By looking at her picture
she could have been on the magazine

Not only is she pretty
But she has brains you see
Else how did she manage
To raise three kids plus me!

But there's another side
To her sweet, pretty face
Have I told you about?
Her shyness and grace?

Yes she's a beauty
All through and through
Not an ounce of malice
Within her heart grew

And I am so proud when I
look in the mirror
To get a little glimpse
Of her living in me.

I appreciate the heavens
For making her all mine
My sweet, pretty Mama.
