I WANT TO GROW OLD WITH YOU
Beneath the shade of a towering oak,
Two souls find solace in one another's presence,
A couple, bound by love's eternal yoke,
Dreaming of a future filled with essence.
Their hands entwined, a testament to years,
A touch that carries stories untold,
As time dances through their intertwined spheres,
A love that has only grown and unfolded.
They sit together, side by side,
Underneath the canopy of nature's grace,
Gazing into each other's eyes with pride,
Lines etched upon their faces, life's embrace.
With every passing moment, their love deepens,
Like roots, entangled beneath the earth's embrace,
Through joys and sorrows, their bond strengthens,
A love that time and trials cannot erase.
And as the winds whisper through the leaves,
Their laughter echoes, a symphony of delight,
For in each other's arms, their hearts find reprieve,
A love that withstands the darkest of night.
They dream of days to come, hand in hand,
Of silvered hair and wrinkled skin,
Of adventures yet to be, across the land,
A future where their hearts forever win.
For in this moment, beneath the tree's embrace,
They know that love is their guiding light,
Together they'll weather life's every phase,
Growing old together, forever side by side.
