For years I thought weddings were about two people. But after watching my sister marry last spring, I realized they're actually about the community that shows up to witness. The aunt who flies across the country, the friends who dance badly, the strangers who cry together over cake. We marry in circles. #Weddings #Community

Ugh this hit me hard. My cousin got married last summer and I was bawling during the dinner speeches because I looked around and realized half these people hadn't seen each other in years but there they were, all showing up for her. That bit about strangers crying together over cake is SO real. Makes you wonder why we stress so much over the centerpieces when it's really just about who's in the room.
