LOST IN THOUGHTS
I waited for that person,
Who'll wipe off my pains and sorrows,
Someone to give me a lively hug,
When I had no hope left within.
Someone who will take me to heights,
Someone who will care for me,
Or even make me want to live again,
When I was ready to give it to rope.
I waited!
I waited for the comforting words,
That could make me put on a smiling face.
Waited for that person who will change my life,
When I had no friends but foes.
I waited for that very person,
Who will make me fall deeply asleep,
Even in the middle of the dark nights,
When my pillow gets soaked with uncontrollable tears.
I waited and waited on the one who will give me a shoulder to lean on.
The one who will console me,
When I sat at the corner and cried.
I waited for just one person,
To understand and feel my pains.
Someone to understand me,
When I seemed so difficult.
The one who could see far beyond my happiness,
Though I wore fake smiles.
No one showed up and;
Now it's time for me to end it all.
To give it to rope ,
Cos that's where I will find Eternal comfort,
But all I keep hearing is,
Rope is not Hope,
Rope is not Hope,
And yes! Rope is not Hope.
