Families Good morning, afternoon, evening, depending on where you are reading from.
How's your morning progressing?
It's a beautiful raining morning here in my part of the world. The birds of the sky, too sacred to flip flap, rodents on the sewage refused to roam the sludge, vehicular traffic abandon the tarred porthole road network in despair and fear of the now virulent flashflood.
The sky weeps so tearfully, even the farmers who so delightfully wish for the rains are crying, some in tears as the floods stream away their potential harvests.
Party caterers stands arm down, thinking about the now obsolete nature's gifted open air space to spread and cook jollof rice, stew, meat and much more. The kitchen as designed left much to be desired.
Hummmmm! Someone just wisper to me right now at the studio!
Sir even the sky weeps for him.
Who! I asked gleely! I'm on the airwaves remember!
Yes sir! "The young man" she said.
What young man? Getting a bit agitated.
That music young multiplayer talent songbird.
Oh! Mohbad.
She tearfully walked out of studio. I'm a fan, she said'
Hummmmmmm! Very slowly, I reduced the volume of music blearily coming from the jazzler.
In unison members of the technical crew, and I in a chorus muted for a minute silence.
We said " may his soul peaceably rest in paradise"
Back to reality.
What exactly happened, to a Pastor's son. How did fame, and pride to a family, suddenly turn the beginning of a sorrowful unending sadness. Linging memory that can never be laid to rest?
The son, God gifted the parents, in whose hands the decision for pension life age, and rest place are rested, depart destiny unfulfilled?
Can lessons be learnt?
Who save our youths from the furnace of drugry in the wild world of entertainment? I'm not suggesting for a second, if that was the cause if the young man's death.
Peer pressure and influence, sometimes results in mismanagement of miracles of fame and stardom etc.
How can the young up coming stars manage fame, in the hands of obnoxious, greedy, arrogant, irrational, and conceited managers.
Oh! this Saturday morning, my crew remained so inactive, and powerless, as one of our much admired and often on air celebrity was finally laid to rest yesterday in a private low key family last journey together on Earth.
So shameful.
The Lord gaveth!!
So at his time, beckons!!!
We must ensure, we leave a message of love wherever we set foot. No one knows when, where, and how.
Kindly share your experiences, thoughts about this worriesome endless wave of drug in our hoods, without control.
